Achievements on the Track

As a middle-distance runner, Hugh has shown remarkable progress. At the Victorian All Schools Championships in November 2024, Hugh delivered impressive results in both the 800m and 1500m events. In the 800m, he recorded a personal best time of 1:53.46, securing third place. He has also run a personal best of 3:58.11 in the 1500m at the Victorian Milers Meet 2 late last year. 

Football Success

In addition to his track accomplishments, Hugh is also excelling in Australian rules football. He plays for the South Barwon Football Netball Club & also Geelong College, where his athleticism and football skills have made a significant impact on the field. Hugh's commitment to football earned him a spot in the Geelong Falcons' U18 boys squad for 2025, further solidifying his place as one of Geelong’s most promising young athletes.
