redLINE Running's Coach, Chris Unthank is an Athletics Australia accredited Level 3 Performance Coach. Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to help you achieve your running goals. His journey as a two-time Olympian in the 3000m Steeplechase has profoundly shaped his approach to coaching. Representing Australia at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, he gained invaluable insights into the mental and physical demands of elite competition.
This firsthand experience allows him to understand the unique challenges that runners face, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your performance.
My coaching philosophy prioritises the individual, acknowledging that a personalised approach is crucial as there is no universal model that fits everyone. My methods concentrate on both immediate performance & the long-term development of athletes.
